Version 0.38.0 is a major update that brings major changes to the Pass system, as well as several changes to the overall game experience.
Features
- Starter Pass v2
- Note: If you are already in the Full Pass, nothing changes.
- We're updating the entire Starter Pass system, making it better, with more access features and more options for those who are not subscribed to the Full Pass.
- The new flow will be as follows:
- Players will be entitled to a free “First” workout to play. You can choose any one from the entire library.
- After that, players will receive a Free Trial Period, known as “Free Full Pass Access”, which will grant Full Pass access to the entire game for the duration of the period.
- When this first period expires, players will be able to extend the Free Full Pass Access for a further period, as described in more detail in the section below.
- After the end of any of the trials, you will still be able to play the game for free, but you will lose all Full Pass privileges.
- Players will then become “officially” part of the Starter Pass, which now has different limitations to the previous version:
- Full access to all the game's content: no more unavailable buttons for you to click, players can access all the game's menus
- Complete library: Starter Pass users will now have access to the entire Fun Fit Five workout library
- Daily limit: Players will now have a daily game limit (in minutes) to play the workouts available within that time limit. This value is not cumulative and will be reset daily.
- Note: when starting a workout, the duration of the workout will be deducted from the players' game time, whether they have completed the exercise or not.
- Settings — Onboarding:
- Now, when you access the renewed “Onboarding” option in Settings, you'll see a Summary displaying all your current choices
- From there, you can return to Onboarding and answer all the questions again.
Improvements
- Onboarding
- The Onboarding process is now mandatory. If you have already completed it, you don't need to do anything. If you have skipped it or have not yet completed it, you will not be able to continue playing the game until you have completed the process.
- Improved flow:
- Several updates to the user interface to better represent your actions when answering questions.
- Updated iconography.
- Improved general navigation.
- Added a “Home” option when accessing Onboarding via Settings, allowing players to return to the Home menu without having to go through all the questions again.
- Removed the “Add your email” step.
- Email verification
- We've updated the player email system, allowing players to confirm their email addresses.
- The process will now take place in the Home Menu, where a new option is displayed in the top right-hand corner (with an email icon).
- There, you can add and then verify your e-mail address by accessing the confirmation link that will be sent.
- NOTE 1: for players who have already entered their e-mail addresses, you will still need to verify them.
- NOTE 2: for Starter Pass players, verifying your email may extend your Free Full Access Period. Read more here.
- Settings
- We've made a major update to the settings user interface. Now, all the options have a more understandable name + a background icon to help you identify what they mean
- In the Home Menu, the Workouts Tabs (Explore/Recommended) now have a brief description of each one.
- Updated the user interface for locked workouts.
- Improved the upgrade flow for the Full Pass.
- Improved the downgrade flow for Starter Pass.
- General improvements to the user interface.
